Assistant Manager, IT FinOps & PMO

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead financial governance within our IT Project Management Office. You will embed financial discipline, drive AI‑enabled automation, and provide data‑driven insights to optimise technology spending.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dashboards for IT spend, budget utilisation, forecast vs actual, BU showback, cost allocation and project financial tracking.
• Automate recurring reports, improve reporting efficiency and ensure accuracy across financial and operational datasets.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasts for IT cost categories, track spend against budget, and prepare variance analysis for senior management.
• Develop AI‑driven use cases, prompts, chatbots and automation initiatives to digitalise PMO and financial processes.
• Research emerging AI and analytics tools relevant to PMO operations and document workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IT financials, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP and data‑visualisation tools like Power BI.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with governance models, project lifecycle management and change‑management practices.
