Assistant Manager, IT FinOps & PMO

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead financial governance within our IT Project Management Office. You will embed financial discipline, drive AI‑enabled automation, and provide data‑driven insights to optimise technology spending.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dashboards for IT spend, budget utilisation, forecast vs. actual, BU showback, cost allocation and project financial tracking.
• Automate recurring reports, perform data analysis to spot trends and optimisation opportunities, and support KPI and visualisation standards for PMO reporting.
• Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, variance analysis and financial summaries for senior management.
• Maintain budgeting templates, financial models and reporting datasets, and guide cost owners on budgeting processes.
• Support AI‑driven use cases, chatbots and automation initiatives, create AI‑powered reporting solutions and evaluate emerging AI tools for PMO operations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IT financials, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP and data‑visualisation tools like Power BI.
• Knowledge of IT cost structures, allocation models and project financials.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and change‑management skills.
