Assistant Manager, Learning & Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development will support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning initiatives across the organization. Working closely with business leaders, you will help identify skill gaps, develop tailored solutions and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of L&D strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct training needs analyses with stakeholders to pinpoint capability gaps.
• Coordinate workshops, leadership development programs and other learning interventions.
• Maintain and implement competency frameworks for various functions.
• Assist in managing graduate, management‑trainee and talent development programs.
• Source and recommend internal and external training solutions.
• Monitor participation, assess learning outcomes and analyse programme effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and insights to drive data‑based decisions.
• Collaborate with HR and business partners to promote continuous professional development.
• Administer learning records, training databases, budgets and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development or related HR functions.
• Proven ability to conduct needs analyses and manage employee development programs.
• Familiarity with competency frameworks, LMS platforms and adult learning methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret learning data and recommend improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
