Assistant Manager, L&OD Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports the delivery of NTU's Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) operations, ensuring accurate and compliant administration of people development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end operational support for L&OD activities, including bond deeds, scholarships, training coordination, absentee payroll, invoicing and claims.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant execution of L&OD processes in line with university policies and governance requirements.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of learning workflows by partnering with internal stakeholders.
• Review, standardise and maintain L&OD processes, SOPs and service controls for consistency and audit readiness.
• Serve as operational point of contact for Schools, OHR, Finance and Payroll teams, resolving issues and supporting continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Administration or Human Resources.
• Good knowledge of HR recruitment processes and employment regulations (advantageous).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high‑volume transactions with accuracy and sound judgement.
• Entry‑level candidates are welcome.

• Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
