Assistant Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the daily logistics operations at DSV, ensuring efficient warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes. This role contributes to meeting delivery timelines and upholding high standards of safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy and inventory accuracy.
• Identify process gaps and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Supervise logistics staff, plan manpower allocation and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking, conduct stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with transport providers to optimise routes and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and SOPs.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse cost, productivity and efficiency metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
