About the role
The Office of Student Affairs, Centre for the Arts, seeks an enthusiastic professional to lead and develop student arts groups and support campus‑wide arts programming. This position blends arts management, event production, and strategic marketing to enrich student life and raise the profile of the Centre for the Arts.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day administration, rehearsals, meetings and workshops for student arts groups (band, theatre, production), including financial and production management.
- Manage annual leadership elections, budget planning and work‑plan support for each group.
- Liaise with group tutors to achieve artistic outcomes and drive community engagement, recruitment and outreach.
- Coordinate programming and production for the third‑space performance platform, the newly renovated Performance Studio, and other venues such as Supernova and the NUS Arts Festival.
- Serve as the primary liaison for CFA marketing and publicity, overseeing all communication initiatives.
- Develop interdisciplinary programmes and forge partnerships within NUS and with local educational institutions.
Required profile
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts Management or Production Management); concert‑operations experience is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student development, arts programming, production or event management.
- Strong interest and knowledge in arts programming, production and interdisciplinary arts management.
- Excellent interpersonal, administrative, oral and written communication skills.
