Assistant Manager / Manager, Financial Reporting (2-year contract)

About the role

This is a 2-year contract position within the Financial Reporting team, based at JTC Summit. You will help ensure sound internal controls and compliance with statutes, policies and accounting standards, and work closely with business units to give them financial advice and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements and management accounts, fixed assets accounting and GST reporting.
• Formulate financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and review monthly closing activities, including audit schedules.
• Take part in financial analysis and prepare presentations.
• Manage and govern JTC's assets and/or inventory.
• Support statutory and internal audits.
• Help review policies, system changes and FRS applications such as leases, group consolidation and financial instruments for investments.

Required profile

• Background in accounting, audit or another relevant qualification; 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure, and good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with external stakeholders such as ministries and government agencies.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Required skills

• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of analytics tools such as Tableau are an advantage.
