About the role

The Assistant Manager, Manor Culturist (Butler) leads a dedicated team of Manor Culturists who deliver highly personalized service to guests at Capella Singapore. This senior position ensures seamless arrivals, departures, and bespoke experiences that reflect the luxury standards of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including luggage handling and check‑in/check‑out procedures.
• Provide tailored recommendations for dining, transportation, and activities throughout the stay.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest preferences, maintaining continuous communication before, during, and after the visit.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to keep manors immaculate, well‑stocked, and fully functional.
• Manage special requests such as in‑manor dining, private chef services, and celebration arrangements.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety, and security protocols.
• Gather guest feedback and deliver insights to senior management for service enhancement.
• Support Capella Culturist duties when manors are unsold and assist with valet services as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Manor Culturist team, identifying training needs and implementing development plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in luxury butler services.
• Proven track record managing teams in high‑end hotels or resorts.
• Exceptional customer‑service mindset with a focus on personalized attention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with local attractions, dining venues, and activity options is preferred.
