Assistant Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant across Singapore. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth service, staff development, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members.
• Create staff schedules and assign tables to waitstaff.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Purchase ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as needed.
• Negotiate better deals for supplies and equipment.
• Record all income and expenses and reconcile cash registers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of payroll processing.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic budgeting and expense tracking.
