Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Shared Services HR Faculty

About the role

This position provides end‑to‑end HR operational and administrative support to assigned schools for the university’s faculty population. It focuses on reappointment, re‑employment, and promotion & tenure processes as part of the NSS HR Faculty Performance Team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the annual Faculty Reappointment and Re‑employment database, ensuring alignment with university governance timelines.
• Coordinate with colleges, schools, Faculty Affairs Office and HR Business Partners to disseminate cases, track reviews and ensure timely submission for university‑level meetings.
• Monitor contract expiry and renewal timelines, issue reminders and support smooth monthly meeting planning.
• Provide HR operational and secretariat support to school‑level committees involved in faculty appointment, reappointments, promotion and tenure deliberations.
• Support university‑level meetings by preparing logistics, taking minutes and collaborating with team members.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and labour laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Meticulous, service‑oriented mindset with ability to handle high‑volume administrative transactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with PowerPDF.
• Working knowledge of Workday (advantageous).
