Assistant Manager – Service Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Service Sales will drive aftermarket service sales and business development for MTU power generation and critical infrastructure applications. You will work across mission‑critical sectors such as data centres, utilities, industrial power generation and government infrastructure, building long‑term customer relationships and expanding service revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow service revenue for MTU power systems within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
• Promote long‑term service agreements, maintenance contracts, upgrades, retrofits, spare parts and technical service solutions.
• Support route‑to‑market strategies through direct sales and distribution channels.
• Monitor and report on sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, customer activities and revenue performance.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, consultants, operators, contractors and channel partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor on lifecycle service solutions and reliability optimisation.
• Conduct regular customer visits, technical discussions and commercial reviews.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive information to inform strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service sales or business development within critical infrastructure or power generation environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both existing and new customer accounts and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of uptime, reliability and lifecycle support requirements in mission‑critical sectors.
• Legal right to work in Singapore.
