Assistant Manager – Short-Term Programme

About the role

The Student and Academic Services Department at NTU is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Office of Global Education and Mobility’s short‑term experiential programmes. You will work within the GEM Discoverer unit, providing student support, promoting overseas immersion programmes and assisting the Short‑Term Programme Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Publicity, Marketing & Outreach: support the manager in planning and executing integrated marketing strategies, develop and manage content across digital and on‑ground channels (social media, website, email, roadshows), copywrite and create basic designs, ensure consistent messaging, monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Programme & Outreach Execution: plan and run outreach activities and events such as fairs, talks and information sessions, coordinate logistics, liaise with vendors, provide on‑site support, track event budgets and expenses, and collect post‑event feedback for continuous improvement.
• Student Services & Programme Operations: provide administrative support including student advisory, application processing, mobility portal management and handling enquiries, support students throughout the programme lifecycle (pre‑departure and post‑programme), and generate reports by analysing programme data.

Required profile

• Strong communication and copy‑writing abilities.
• Experience coordinating events and managing vendor relationships.
• Ability to collaborate closely with a manager and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail for budgeting, reporting and content proof‑reading.
