Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Manulife is looking for a dedicated professional to join its Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month contract. You will help identify and attract top talent in a competitive market, working closely with the Singapore HR team and overseeing the full recruitment process from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for designated roles, keeping the hiring process smooth and compliant.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and background verification, in line with local regulations and company standards.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring criteria, skill profiles and selection standards.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, employees and internal stakeholders, giving them useful insights throughout the process.
• Use sourcing platforms such as Phenom, Workday, company websites, social media and market insights to attract a diverse talent pool.
• Present strong candidate recommendations to support hiring decisions and business needs.
• Plan, coordinate and represent the company at career fairs, recruitment events and employer branding activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated history of successful recruitment in corporate or agency environments.
• Understanding of the insurance industry and its talent landscape is advantageous.
• Extensive professional network and ability to build lasting relationships with candidates, hiring managers and industry contacts.
• Collaborative mindset, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential HR information with discretion.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing, interviewing and selection methods.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software and other recruitment tools.
• Ability to analyse recruitment metrics and use data-driven insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
