Assistant Operations Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

Paradox Singapore is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager (Food & Beverage) to support the smooth daily functioning of the hotel. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the Senior Operations Manager to oversee Food & Beverage, Front Office and Security operations, ensuring a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations across Food & Beverage, Front Office and Security to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Supervise service delivery, team performance, hygiene standards and set‑up for events, meetings and group functions.
• Work with Culinary and F&B teams on outlet readiness, inventory control and presentation standards.
• Manage check‑in/check‑out, Service Centre operations, VIP arrivals and personalized guest requests.
• Monitor lobby presentation, team grooming and concierge services such as transportation and tours.
• Address guest complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Oversee security shift activities, patrols, surveillance and emergency procedures, briefing teams on VIPs and high‑risk zones.
• Prepare accurate operational reports, logs and ensure compliance with SOPs, brand guidelines and health & safety regulations.
• Identify service gaps, recommend workflow improvements and support training of new employees.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and service with a desire to develop into a future hospitality leader.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and handling guest interactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
