Assistant Producer

About the role

You will lead the Army's media production team to create compelling visual content for both public and internal communications. The position oversees the entire production cycle, from concept development to post‑production, while building team capabilities and managing stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Propose creative content ideas aligned with current trends for the Army's media platforms.
• Lead end‑to‑end media production, including ideation, pre‑production logistics, on‑site shooting, and post‑production editing of video and photographs.
• Direct and mentor the production team on technical shooting techniques to capture required angles and content.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on team‑generated media assets.
• Manage production timelines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of media collaterals.

Required profile

• Education in Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in communications, filmmaking, or content production (candidates with no experience may still apply).
• Strong creative and critical thinking abilities with effective idea communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Resourceful, adaptable, and able to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in photography and videography, including technical knowledge of equipment.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator.
• Knowledge of content strategy and ability to develop audience‑focused media.
