Assistant Professor – Psychology (Tenure‑Track)

About the role

The Department of Psychology at the National University of Singapore is seeking two tenure‑track Assistant Professors. The positions are open to candidates across psychology specialties, with a preference for expertise in Clinical, Developmental, or Quantitative Psychology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology.
• Establish an independent research programme and secure external funding.
• Supervise graduate students, including MSc and PhD candidates.
• Contribute to departmental service, curriculum development, and academic committees.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field.
• For Clinical Psychology candidates, completion of formal graduate‑level clinical training.
• Strong record of scholarly publications (up to five significant works).
• Demonstrated teaching ability and a clear teaching philosophy.
