About the role

The School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at Singapore Management University seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering to strengthen its research and teaching portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research in core and integrative domains such as AI Governance, Quantum Computing, and Cybersecurity.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise PhD students, with the school funding their research.
• Publish in top‑tier conferences and journals and secure competitive research grants.

Required skills

• Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (including machine learning, deep learning, explainable AI).
• Cybersecurity and privacy (including AI in cybersecurity, security economics).
• Quantum Computing, Embodied AI, Smart Financial Technology, Green Computing.
• Human‑Machine Collaborative Systems, Multimedia Systems, Human‑Computer Interaction.
