Assistant Project Manager

About the role

The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects across Singapore. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards while maintaining client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and set up site and sequential job planning for smooth project execution.
• Handle project schedules, technical matters and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site meetings and inspections with the project team, site staff and contractors.
• Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain permits and meet licensing requirements.
• Manage site progress, cost control, quality compliance and timely delivery.
• Ensure work safety and health practices are implemented.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building/Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction, preferably on public and private projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
• Persuasive, service‑oriented with good client relationship and people management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and maintain a positive working attitude.
• Willingness to work alternate Saturdays.
