Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our senior QS team in daily cost management and project documentation. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in construction cost estimation and contract administration within a dynamic Singapore‑based construction firm.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with daily QS duties and project costing activities.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and measurements for tender and contract documents.
• Prepare quotations, tender submissions and related contract paperwork.
• Support progress claims, variation orders and final account preparation.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Attend site meetings when needed.
• Undertake any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management or the senior Quantity Surveyor.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and quantity surveying.
• Responsible, eager to learn and able to work in a team.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
