Assistant Relationship Manager, Asia

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) for Asia. The ARM supports one or more Relationship Managers, Team Heads and Group Heads in daily operations, administration and client management, acting as a role model for service quality and channeling client feedback to the bank so that processes can improve quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Client administration: support RMs/GH in client interaction, systems, processes, files and documents; customize client requests such as reports, statistics and mailings; manage calendars, prepare meetings, organize business trips and handle post-processing of calls and meetings
• Business management: collect and exchange relevant information, conduct reviews and document work, support project implementation, propose improvements and manage expense claims for RMs/GH
• Risk management: help manage client documentation risks, raise concerns and escalate when in doubt, ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies, and ensure timely clearance of pending items
• Documentation: ensure accurate, understandable documentation of client interactions and orders in tools such as CRM and DiAS
• Regulatory: act as a representative under MAS SFA and/or FAA, and uphold standards of honesty, integrity, due care, fair dealing, conflict of interest management and continuous development

Required profile

• Natural team player who relates to colleagues from diverse backgrounds and is open and approachable
• Competent, professional communication and a highly service-oriented attitude
• Systematic, precise and diligent, able to work under pressure, with personal integrity
• Sound understanding of Private Banking products and services, basic knowledge of global financial markets and familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment of the covered geographic market
