Assistant Relationship Manager, Treasures Private Client

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group, the leading bank in Asia, is hiring an Assistant Relationship Manager for its Treasures Private Client (TPC) team. The role supports Relationship Managers in serving high-net-worth clients and keeping them retained.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in providing excellent service to high-net-worth clients to achieve client retention.
• Partner with Client, Business Support and service providers to ensure timely transaction processing and delivery of client requests.
• Understand client needs and help RMs maintain account relationships day to day.
• Act as the client's main point of contact for initiating instructions, monitoring funds for payment, preparing fax instructions, forms and loan disbursement instructions.
• Initiate account opening, closure and update checklists and liaise with clients to complete documentation.
• Track and follow up on outstanding documentation and unpaid fees.
• Assist with onboarding of TPC clients and send out welcome packs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in a banking service role.
• CACS certifications 1 and 2.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, services and procedures.
• Good understanding of financial and investment products, including equity and bond markets.
• Strong knowledge of offshore compliance and regulatory requirements, and exposure to multicultural issues.

The job is based in DBS Asia Central, under the Customer Service schedule, with regular hours. The employer offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
