Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

Willow, a Michelin‑starred Asian fine‑dining restaurant in Singapore, is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering world‑class service. The role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, upscale environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily front‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth service.
• Lead, motivate and develop the service team to uphold Michelin‑level hospitality standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and service issues with professionalism and care.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and compliance across the restaurant.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training and performance management of staff.
• Coordinate closely with the culinary team for seamless service execution.
• Manage inventory, ordering and stock control of operational supplies and beverages.
• Support continuous improvement of operational procedures and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in fine‑dining, luxury hospitality or upscale restaurant environments.
• Strong passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Mandarin or other languages a plus.
• Experience with pre‑opening restaurant operations is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SevenRooms reservation system.
