Assistant Technical Manager

About the role

The Assistant Technical Manager will support the project team by overseeing design documentation, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring that all technical solutions meet Singapore construction standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review all technical documentation and project drawings.
• Coordinate design matters with consultants and clients, resolving technical issues.
• Prepare and manage shop drawings (reinforced concrete and architectural) and submit schedules.
• Compose technical proposals and manage submittal processes.
• Chair regular technical team meetings to monitor progress.
• Optimize design solutions for compliance, buildability, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the design approval process and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Identify and communicate potential risks that could affect project performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Singapore PE Board.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience in Singapore.
