Assistant/Deputy/Manager, Investigation

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking motivated individuals to join its Investigation team. You will be responsible for probing violations of the Road Traffic Act, Active Mobility Act, Electric Vehicles Charging Act and related legislation, ensuring that offenders are dealt with promptly and fairly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with witnesses and parties involved to gather factual information.
• Perform field work, site visits and system checks to secure evidence.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the investigation process.
• Prepare court charges, summonses, and notices of traffic offences for approval by senior officers.
• Draft investigation papers, subpoena witnesses, and attend court hearings to testify.
• Collaborate with process and policy owners to improve workflows and implement operational solutions.
• Participate in project‑based assignments aimed at enhancing investigation practices.
• Support senior officers with requirements gathering, data analysis, document drafting, system testing, reporting and presentations.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Results‑driven self‑starter with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and delivering projects.
• Willingness to complete a medical declaration and undergo further assessments if required.
