Associate Banker Senior - ANZ/PHIL (Assistant Vice President)

About the role

Citi is hiring an Associate Banker Senior (Assistant Vice President) in Singapore for its Private Client Coverage team, supporting private bankers. The role is a seasoned professional position requiring in-depth knowledge of the area, strong analytical and communication skills, and an informal or formal leadership role within teams, including coaching and training new recruits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complete service support to clients, including solving complex client inquiries
• Support bankers day to day on documentation such as account opening and closing and loan disbursals
• Organise pre-call planning, post-meeting notes and client call records, including call reports
• Help bankers profile, qualify and convert prospects into Citi Private Bank clients
• Deepen existing client relationships through detailed analysis
• Help create sales and marketing strategies focused on investments to grow revenue and acquire new clients
• Conduct prospect research, generate leads, network for referrals and coordinate client events
• Provide accurate revenue tracking and deal pipeline reports to bankers
• Ensure KYC/AML documentation is accurate and up to date
• Assess risk and uphold compliance with laws, rules and regulations, safeguarding the firm's reputation

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Passed CACS Paper 1 and Paper 2
• Ability to manage internal and external relationships and to prioritise

Required skills

• Knowledge of investments is required
• Banking and credit products are desirable
• Good analytical, communication and diplomacy skills
