Associate Director, FX Investor Sales

About the role

The Associate Director, FX Investor Sales will deliver trading and risk‑management solutions across a range of foreign‑exchange products to institutional clients such as asset managers, banks, central banks and other non‑bank financial institutions. This client‑facing position covers the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pipeline management to deal execution, with a focus on revenue growth and relationship development.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by delivering FX advisory and executing vanilla and derivative products for financial‑institution clients.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Trading to manage client portfolios, onboard new accounts and identify revenue opportunities.
• Respond to client pricing and advisory needs across voice and electronic channels, strengthening relationships.
• Support execution of Markets and International strategies for Financial Institutions Sales across Asia.
• Maintain strong risk‑management discipline, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with Risk and Credit teams to identify, assess and mitigate portfolio risks.
• Implement and monitor front‑office controls and processes to minimise operational and transactional risks.
• Foster high performance, teamwork and knowledge sharing across the business.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships while role‑modelling ANZ values, governance and conduct standards.

Required profile

• Strong Global Markets Sales background with extensive knowledge of relevant markets.
• Sales experience with Financial Institutions clients, particularly with FX products (advantageous).
• Extensive knowledge of Markets products, processes and related workflows.
