Associate Engineer, Mobile Voice

About the role

The Associate Engineer, Mobile Voice will support Singtel’s roaming coverage by performing IREG testing for VoLTE roaming, collaborating with roaming partners and ensuring a high‑quality roaming experience worldwide. This role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge 4G/5G technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our mobile services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct IREG testing for VoLTE roaming and support new roaming partners and service launches.
• Coordinate with sponsored roaming, roaming hub, bilateral partners and carriers to resolve roaming and interworking issues.
• Assist in initial diagnosis of incidents, manage roaming complaints, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Monitor and improve roaming experience by collaborating with network teams and technology vendors.
• Track and report roaming KPIs using active testing and passive monitoring platforms.
• Analyse roaming quality trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Maintain industry documentation (IR21) and create work orders for network changes.
• Steer roaming activities in line with product team agreements.

Required profile

• Engineering or IT diploma, preferably in communications engineering or networking.
• Fresh graduates with a strong attitude and interest in mobile technologies are welcome.
• Willingness to undergo training to fill the role.
• Passion for telecommunications technologies such as 4G, 5G, LTE and VoLTE.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking and Internet standards (TCP/IP).
