Consultant / Senior Consultant – Haematology

About the role

The National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS) is seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant in Haematology to join its clinical haematology service. The role involves delivering comprehensive care for both benign and malignant haematological conditions within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum clinical haematology services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up for benign and malignant disorders.
• Manage laboratory haematology investigations and oversee transfusion medicine practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adhering to policies of the National University Health System and the Ministry of Health.
• Participate in teaching, research, and continuous professional development activities.
• Occasionally be deployed to other institutions within the NUHS network as required.

Required profile

• Active clinical practice with basic medical and postgraduate qualifications recognised by the Singapore Medical Council.
• Completed Advanced Specialty Training (CCST) with FRCPath or FRCPA and at least two years of consultant‑level experience.
• Successful registration with the Singapore Medical Council and accreditation by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health.
• Ability to work independently and manage patients in a multi‑discipline setting.
• Confident, initiative‑taking team player.
