About the role
SingHealth is looking for an Associate Psychologist to join a multi-disciplinary team and provide psychological services in the area of neuropsychological assessment. The role also covers cognitive rehabilitation, patient education and counselling.
Key responsibilities
- Provide psychological services including neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation.
- Educate patients about their condition and provide counselling and rehabilitative services.
- Develop, maintain and update protocols for psychological evaluation, interventions and counselling.
- Coordinate and deliver programmes supporting patients and their caregivers, educating them about the impairment or illness.
Required profile
- Recognized Bachelor's degree in Psychology with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Good interpersonal skills to work with adults, including the geriatric population.
- Able to work both in teams and independently.
- Previous experience in a neurological clinic is an advantage; rehabilitation exposure is considered favorable.
