Associate / Senior Associate Airport Operations (Safety & Security)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Airport Operations (Safety, Security & Compliance) team. The role supports the execution of safety and security processes, audits and continuous improvement across our stations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle email queries from stations and service providers on ground safety and security matters.
• Assist in preparing for Safety Management System (SMS) and IATA Operational Safety Audits.
• Conduct annual Continuous Self‑Assessment (CSA) exercises and coordinate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) updates.
• Communicate procedural changes, share best practices and ensure training currency for auditors and staff.
• Update manuals, inform users of revisions and maintain the GSD database.
• Arrange meetings, safety campaigns and coordinate payments for fines to authorities.
• Perform ground safety and process audits at local and overseas stations.
• Investigate incidents and hazard reports, produce corrective actions and update systems within target dates.
• Analyse safety performance data, generate reports and drive safety promotion activities.
• Provide ad‑hoc support during crises or major flight disruptions.

Required profile

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in airport operations or flight operations preferred.
• Experience with safety management systems is advantageous.
• Strong critical‑thinking, organization and attention‑to‑detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Effective communication skills.
