Associate Sustainability Communication Director

About the role

SHEIN is seeking a strategic storyteller to lead global ESG communications. You will shape and deliver an integrated communication strategy that raises awareness of the company’s sustainability and social impact initiatives among internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global ESG communication strategies aligned with SHEIN’s brand, mission, and values.
• Create compelling multi‑channel content that showcases ESG priorities, thought leadership, and impact stories.
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to translate insights into engaging narratives.
• Monitor industry and peer trends to identify gaps, differentiation opportunities, and future communication directions.
• Define and track communication KPIs, measuring the effectiveness of ESG messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• 8–10 years of communications experience on the agency or client side, with direct exposure to ESG, diversity, equity, inclusion, or sustainability communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft authentic, strategic content.
• Experience building omnichannel communication strategies and delivering measurable business results.
• Self‑starter with strong initiative; native English speaker; Mandarin fluency is a plus.
