Associate/Analyst – Mid‑Market Direct Lending

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate/Analyst to support the assessment, execution and monitoring of mid‑market direct lending credit investments across Southeast Asia. The role will involve rigorous industry and company research, financial modelling and participation in deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute middle‑market private credit transactions, including preparation of investment memos and detailed financial and valuation models.
• Conduct industry analysis and company due diligence.
• Prepare investment memoranda and assist in drafting term sheets.
• Review and negotiate transaction legal documentation with internal and external counsel.
• Support senior team members in sourcing and structuring private credit opportunities.
• Communicate investment theses and risks to the Managing Partner and investment team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with first‑class honors.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit/equity, or accounting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English and at least one Asian language.

Required skills

• Financial modelling (DCF, accretion/dilution, trading comparable analysis).
• Industry analysis and familiarity with industry frameworks.
• Proficiency in building detailed valuation models.
