Associate/SA, Business Analyst - Project Management, Consumer Banking Wealth Management Ops

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate/SA Business Analyst for its Project Management team within Regional Consumer Banking Wealth Management Operations, reporting to the Group COO. The role sits in the DBS Asia Hub and covers system and process delivery, digital transformation and process re-engineering across consumer banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Business Units and IT partners on business requirement gathering, solution and functional reviews, and end-to-end delivery and testing.
• Implement and support digital customer journeys to improve customer and employee experience.
• Collaborate with regional, country and functional teams to design, re-engineer and implement optimized operational solutions.
• Ensure smooth rollout of new solutions and provide post-production support, tracking issues to closure.
• Re-engineer end-to-end processes and review operations solutions to identify efficiency gains.
• Lead and implement the automation agenda to transform consumer banking operations.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and review and document requirements, functional specifications and process definition documents.
• Coordinate UAT test plans and test cases so they run on schedule.
• Review production issues and track them through to closure.
• Maintain alignment with regional and country teams for timely project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree or diploma, with 3-4 years of experience in business process improvement initiatives.
• Strong project life cycle experience in financial services, especially consumer banking operations (secured lending and payments), is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of banking processes and technology.
• Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork and inter-relationship skills.
• Adaptable, disciplined, focused, organized and systematic.

• Experience with Functional Specification Documents (FSD), JIRA and GenAI applications is a strong plus
