Automation Tester – Web Applications (BDD)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team and ensure the quality of web applications using Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) approaches. You will work closely with business analysts and developers to translate requirements into automated test scripts and validate system functionality across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Determine requirements and specifications for applications to be tested.
• Develop and maintain functional test cases, results, and test data using Test Automation tools and Jira Zephyr.
• Estimate, plan, prioritize, monitor progress and coordinate testing activities.
• Provide daily UAT testing status reports.
• Develop and execute test automation scripts for regression suites.
• Analyze client business requirements through documentation, interviews and workshops.
• Ensure application quality in SIT, UAT, Performance and Production environments.
• Execute test scenarios, test cases, and defect reviews across unit, integration, system, DB and regression testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience testing web applications.
• Meticulous, independent worker with strong initiative and ownership.
• Good interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle.
