Avaloq Project Manager

About the role

Avaloq, a Swiss-founded wealth management technology provider serving financial institutions worldwide, is hiring a Project Manager in Singapore. The role manages the end-to-end implementation of Avaloq's BPaaS/SaaS solutions for a major global bank customer, coordinating internal Avaloq units and partner resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and execute change-bank projects for the customer, working with Avaloq units such as Solution Architects, consultants, infrastructure, support services and regional banking operations, as well as partner resources.
• Define project objectives and carry out the project plan.
• Prepare the project budget and commercial offers, then negotiate them with prospective and existing customers together with the Solution Architects, consultants and key account managers.
• Deliver projects on scope, quality, time, budget and staffing, and run post-project reviews.
• Coach and coach the customer's project managers and teams on best practices and business processes from Avaloq's Banking Reference.
• Lead projects while supporting pre-sales offers to prospects, ensuring deliverables are timely and of good quality.

Required profile

• Proven track record as overall project leader in large projects, preferably involving the introduction of standard software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Project management qualification from a leading accreditor.
• Negotiation experience up to steering committee level and leadership of interdisciplinary, multi-cultural teams.
• Knowledge of banking business and bank-related processes.
• International change-bank platform project experience is an advantage; German speaking is a bonus.
