AVP, Regional Wealth Management Operations (Project Management)

About the role

DBS Group Operations manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and aims to make its infrastructure efficient, nimble and resilient. As Assistant Vice President of Regional Wealth Management Operations, you will transform and optimize Wealth Management Operations (WMO) processes across all DBS locations, driving the WMO strategy and Target Operating Model through change management and project delivery. You will work closely with the SVP and WMO heads from various locations to standardize processes, strengthen controls and implement innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive strategic change initiatives: initiate, plan, execute and deliver change management projects for process automation, efficiency and new operating models
• Develop change management strategies, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement and training
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, keeping initiatives aligned with the WMO strategy and Target Operating Model
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets and resources, and conduct business analysis to propose data-driven process improvements
• Set KPIs, monitor progress and report regularly to senior management
• Ensure deliverables comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Identify and mitigate project risks and control gaps, and share best practices across locations
• Engage front office, technology, risk, compliance and local operations teams, and deliver training to end-users

Required profile

• Degree holder with 8 years of relevant project management experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking Operations
• Experience at an organization undergoing an Agile transformation
• Ability to communicate analytical findings in writing and verbally, and to analyze large amounts of information accurately
• Decisive, solution-focused, self-motivated with a growth mindset

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with the Avaloq system is an added advantage
• Dashboarding tools such as Tableau preferred
• Competency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
