AVP/VP Cybersecurity – Insider Risk & Security

About the role

Temasek is seeking an AVP/VP to lead its Insider Risk & Security function within the Cybersecurity department. Reporting directly to the CISO, the role will design and operate a programme that prevents, detects and responds to insider threats across the organisation and its ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategy, operating model and capabilities for the new Insider Risk & Security team.
• Establish control mechanisms and technical capabilities to monitor insider activities.
• Drive measurable reduction of insider‑related risks through prevention, detection and response measures.
• Develop structured processes for joint reviews and investigations with business units.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure comprehensive coverage of insider threats.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading insider risk or security programmes in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑defence, data leakage, and emerging AI‑related risk vectors.
• Ability to work directly with senior leadership, including the CISO.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills to assess malicious or negligent insider activity.
