Backend Engineer, Trading

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure for our trading platform. The role involves working on large‑scale systems, ensuring high performance, and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement infrastructure components for trading applications.
• Build and evolve large‑scale software systems and upgrade underlying architecture.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor systems.
• Write high‑quality, clean, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Guide junior engineers in daily tasks and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, quickly learn new technologies, and communicate effectively across teams.

Required skills

• Proficient in core Java and familiar with the Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Experience designing distributed systems and using messaging middleware.
