Bar Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our luxury bar at Mandarin Oriental Singapore. The role combines operational excellence, team leadership and delivering memorable guest experiences in a world‑class hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing issues promptly.
• Enforce operational standards, SOPs and quality measures to maintain consistent service.
• Identify service and F&B quality improvements using audit reports, guest feedback and incident data, and implement action plans.
• Drive profitability by increasing turnover, controlling costs and managing the bar’s budget.
• Lead, train, schedule and mentor bar staff, ensuring grooming standards and effective roster planning.
• Collaborate with the kitchen, materials management, outlet managers and the sommelier to ensure food quality, profitability and efficient operations.
• Provide personalized service to VIP guests, creating “wow” moments and handling beverage preferences.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience as a Bar Manager within an international luxury hotel group.
• Strong service orientation with proven leadership and people‑management skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
