Barista Supervisor

About the role

The Vietnamese restaurant seeks a Barista Supervisor to lead the beverage station, ensure consistent drink quality, and uphold high standards of customer service and hygiene. This full‑time position involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, juices and other beverages according to company recipes, ensuring taste, presentation and portion consistency.
• Supervise daily work of baristas, create schedules, train new staff on preparation, service, hygiene and equipment use.
• Deliver friendly, efficient service, handle enquiries, special requests and complaints, and promote menu items.
• Monitor stock levels of beans, tea, milk, syrups and supplies; prepare inventory reports and place purchase requests.
• Maintain and clean coffee machines, grinders, blenders and other equipment; report faults and arrange servicing.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

Required profile

• Experience supervising and training barista teams in a fast‑paced beverage environment.
• Knowledge of SFA food safety standards and ability to enforce hygiene practices.
• Strong organisational skills for inventory control, scheduling and equipment maintenance.
