About the role
The Basic Care Assistant supports nursing staff by providing essential daily care to patients in a hospital ward. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct interaction with patients and helps maintain a clean, safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with feeding, bathing, and toileting.
- Help keep the ward tidy and organised.
- Follow infection‑control procedures when attending to patients.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties as needed.
- Work under the supervision of registered nurses.
Required profile
- Minimum PSLE qualification.
- Basic literacy in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Independent, highly organised and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy.

- Monthly salary ranging from SGD 1,600 to SGD 2,200.
