Bellman – Guest Services & Porterage Supervisor

About the role

The Bellman is responsible for supervising all porterage activities and ensuring a seamless, memorable experience for guests at Raffles Hotel Singapore. This role combines hands‑on baggage handling with guest‑service leadership, supporting the arrival and departure journey.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all porterage tasks, including safe handling of incoming, outgoing, and stored baggage.
• Welcome residents and guests, promote in‑house facilities, and provide directions to local attractions.
• Oversee entrance, driveway, valet drop‑off/pick‑up, and taxi/hired‑car queues, ensuring smooth operations.
• Support Doorman and Reception teams during guest arrivals and departures.
• Address security incidents and guest complaints, escalating to the Lobby Manager when needed.
• Ensure compliance with brand SOPs, LQA standards, WHS policies, and Accor values.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate and address guest and colleague needs.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and maintain a cohesive team.
• Detail‑oriented, approachable, and able to work well under pressure.
