About the role
We are looking for a Building Construction Project Engineer to support the project manager in delivering construction projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards in Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily and monthly progress reports, method statements and work procedures for the project manager.
- Oversee drawing management and ensure updated drawings are issued to clients and subcontractors.
- Assist the project manager or senior project engineer in coordinating change orders with consultants and quantity surveyors.
- Work closely with safety personnel to ensure compliance with all government and safety regulations.
- Conduct weekly or monthly meetings with subcontractors to update progress and resolve issues.
Required profile
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil & Structural, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- Understanding of construction sequencing.
- Minimum 3 years of site experience in Singapore with a main contractor.
