Building Trades Worker – Expression of Interest

About the role

The Building Trades Worker supports Cushman & Wakefield’s residential properties by preparing move‑in apartments, responding to resident service requests, and maintaining common areas. This hands‑on role ensures a high‑quality living experience and upholds the company’s commitment to superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning and minor repairs.
• Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform routine upkeep of grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas and dog park amenities.
• Report and resolve maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes and shared spaces.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with state, local and federal fair‑housing regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; trade, technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to read and follow policy manuals, safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for routine maintenance situations.
