Business Analyst (1 Year Contract) - Product Delivery

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Product Delivery Business Analyst (Associate Manager / Manager) on a 1-year contract. The role delivers successful product launches across multiple platforms, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders so products are delivered on time, with quality and in line with governance and standards. You will be accountable for key launch deliverables, from requirements definition through user acceptance testing and post-deployment verification, and may take on ad-hoc initiatives. You report to the Product Delivery Team Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Support and monitor end-to-end delivery of new product launches, and lead launch discussions with stakeholders, prioritising scope and changes.
• Proactively identify, manage and escalate delivery risks with clear recommendations.
• Document business requirements, solution designs and business rules, and validate them before development, testing and implementation.
• Discuss and align alternative solutions with Technology and other stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into test scenarios and conditions for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and own UAT planning, execution, coordination and sign-off.
• Track defects with Technology teams, organise defect checkpoints and drive timely resolution.
• Perform post-deployment verification and maintain SOPs, training materials and user guides; lead stakeholder training where needed.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and governance, and ensure compliance with launch SOPs.
• Coach, mentor and oversee team members, promoting a delivery culture of ownership, collaboration and accountability.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience managing or leading projects is a strong advantage.
• GCE 'A' Levels or equivalent, or relevant professional qualifications.
• Strong delivery ownership, analytical and critical thinking skills, and project management and coordination abilities.
