Business Analyst, Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring an Associate Business Analyst in its Internal Firm Services line of service, within IFS - Operations. The role supports the organisation's data-driven decision-making by maintaining reliable data models, strengthening data quality controls and delivering clear analytics through dashboards and automated data workflows. It works with Business and IT teams to model data in the core SQL database, maintain the data dictionary and develop Power BI dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Model and maintain objects in the organisation's core SQL database to support reliable reporting and analytics
• Maintain the data dictionary
• Document, monitor and troubleshoot data connections between source systems and the core SQL database
• Develop and maintain exception reports to identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues
• Automate information retrieval from external sources to reduce manual effort
• Develop business intelligence dashboards using Power BI
• Perform ETL using Python or SQL

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience with SQL and Python
• Experience with data modelling and data dictionary management
• Experience with ETL tools such as Python, SQL or R
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
