Business Analyst Internship (Banking)

About the role

SAP Fioneer, a global software company with a start-up mentality, is looking for a Business Analyst intern in its Banking department in Singapore. You will support the team in developing innovative software solutions and advising customers, with ample time for learning and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the identification of customer challenges and help explore solutions that create business value for existing and prospective clients.
• Learn customer business objectives and priorities, and prepare materials and insights for stakeholder engagement.
• Analyze customer organizational structures and processes to understand stakeholder relationships and project requirements.
• Gain exposure to Core Banking solutions (Deposit Management, Lending Management, Cash Management, Transaction Banking) through implementation and pre-sales support under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Collaborate with regional teams across Southeast Asia and build an understanding of the financial services industry in the region.

Required profile

• Currently a student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable STEM programme with above-average performance.
• Interest in the interplay of economic and technical issues, and very good analytical skills.
• Ideally some experience in agile and project-based work or software development.
• Good written and spoken English.
