Business Analyst

About the role

As a Business Analyst within the Product Management team, you will support the prompt delivery and implementation of new products. You will work closely with the business to understand its processes, turn requirements into test scenarios and help ensure the enhancements are delivered correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Support the prompt delivery and implementation of new products.
• Participate in discussions with the business to understand its processes.
• Document the rules and enhancements that are needed.
• Collaborate with the business to provide comprehensive business requirements, considering current and future needs.
• Discuss enhancements with the Team Lead.
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios, conditions and expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Be accountable for executing UAT and documenting the results.
• Track outstanding defects and work with the Application Management team to resolve tickets within the agreed timeline.
• Develop SOPs or training guides for the enhancements and train users on them.
• Perform post-deployment verification once products are launched.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of working experience is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry is advantageous.
• Initiative and focus on delivery, able to work both as a team player and independently.
• Meticulous, well organised, with good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
