Business Analyst - Payments T24

About the role

Fuku is looking for a Business Analyst focused on the T24 core banking platform, working from an operations perspective across assigned projects. The role covers requirements gathering, project planning and delivery, and UAT coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document functional, non-functional, legal and operational user stories and requirements, and maintain a prioritised backlog for the T24 platform
• Partner with business and operational leads to identify, validate and refine business needs
• Support business cases, including timeline and budget estimates, and set up project governance structures
• Ensure solutions are strategic, scalable and aligned with macro and regulatory developments
• Develop detailed project plans with milestones, critical paths, dependencies and deliverables, and monitor progress against scope, timeline and budget
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues, and run quality controls on deliverables
• Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing, including defect resolution and user sign-off
• Prepare regular project status reports and run governance and stakeholder meetings

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in private banking or a related financial services environment
• 3+ years of experience with agile delivery methods such as Scrum or SAFe, preferably as a Business Analyst
• Hands-on experience with the T24 payments module (TPH), incoming and outgoing SWIFT messaging, MX message implementation and annual SWIFT standards changes
• Additional exposure to Treasury / Interbank operations is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage stakeholders

Required skills

• Strong understanding of banking business processes, including process design and re-engineering
• Ability to perform impact analysis across business models, systems, tools and processes
• Experience identifying operational efficiencies and synergies
