Business Analyst - Trade Finance (Bank Guarantees)

About the role

Antaes, a Swiss management and technology consulting firm founded in 2007, is hiring a Business Analyst for its Trade Finance digitalisation project in Singapore. The role covers the end-to-end delivery of a digital solution for bank guarantee issuance, from requirement gathering through testing and deployment, within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities

• Map the current bank guarantee workflow and design the optimised digital "to-be" process, and run workshops with Operations, Risk and Legal teams to gather requirements.
• Write BRDs and FRDs, define automated approval and credit limit logic, and specify SWIFT MT760, MT767 and MT768 requirements.
• Design digital templates for bid bonds, performance bonds and advance payment guarantees.
• Lead UAT, write test scripts and scenarios, track bugs, and oversee data migration of legacy guarantee data.
• Ensure the system complies with ICC rules (URDG 758, UCP 600) and local central bank regulations, and integrates AML/sanctions screening triggers.
• Take accountability for trade projects, manage approved initiatives and new business TACs/NACs, and present solutions to the steering committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Business Administration.
• CDCS or CSDG certification is a major plus.
• Experience implementing Trade Finance software such as Finastra, Temenos or Misys.
• Ability to explain technical limitations to bankers and regulations to developers, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Trade finance instruments: bank guarantees, SBLCs and bonds.
• Familiarity with ICC URDG 758 and SWIFT messaging.
• Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart or Trello.
• Basic to intermediate SQL.
• Agile/Scrum or Waterfall experience.
